To end the evening we were presented with a dessert trio from Mastro's where we tasted the star of the night, the Warm Butter Cake!! I still dream about this dessert. At Javier's we had a delicious half chicken half seafood enchilada that puts all other enchiladas to shame. We also went to Javier's which has some of the most interesting and beautiful artwork I have ever seen in a restaurant. So much fun! Then we had gourmet crispy chicken wings served with a honey wasabi sauce that'll make you want to move to Vegas. From the Blue Ribbon we started off with some clams followed by some fondue. One filled with faux gras and another with short rib. No way! We had freshly made pastas from Scarpetta. You will not be sampling hotdogs and pizza out of a food truck on this tour. Every place we went to was chef driven and we were so blissfully full at the end we could barely move. We had the BEST time on this tour! If you're worried about the amount or quality of the food, don't be. While in Vegas if you don’t want to gamble with your health/safety maybe consider this tour after being fully vaccinated. The reason for my title - If you’re concerned with the ongoing pandemic you will probably be uncomfortable sitting shoulder to shoulder or directly across from a complete set of strangers while everyone is maskless. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable and were there to assist with any questions you may have to make your trip to Vegas a memorable one. Besides the one lackluster restaurant the rest of the tour was great and provided insight into restaurants I would have never considered. The guides were visibility frustrated as well as this most likely caused delays for the remainder of the tour. And the steak that was supposedly hand picked by the chef was fatty and mediocre. They gave us a menu of what to expect and one item never came (brioche appetizer). We were left waiting outside the restaurant for 10-15 minutes and once seated the food was not ready for us like at the other restaurants. STK was extremely disappointing and could have been left off the tour. The experience was great as were the restaurants and the food - for the most part.
